MBC Student Ministry

(6th - 12th grades)

MBC Student Ministry exists to lead students to know their identity in Christ as Christ expresses His life in and through them.

MBC STUDENTS DURING COVID-19

As many of you know, with the current situation the world is facing we are not meeting for regular gatherings, but we still have ways to connect with your students during this time!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT ZOOM HANGOUTS (6:30-7:30pm)

Every Wednesday night we meet together on Zoom to play a fun game, catch up, and have a short Bible discussion based off of our Podcast. We would love to have your student join us during this time to connect! For info on how to join the hangout email our Student Pastor Tanner Shumake.

BRAIN BREAKFAST PODCAST

Every Friday morning we post a podcast called "Brain Breakfast." This Podcast discusses different Biblical, cultural, relational, topics that is for everyone (not just students!). At the moment we are diving into Psalms and comparing what the authors were experiencing to what we are experiencing in life right now.

MBC Student Life Groups

At MBC Students we have a heart to see students grasp God's word. One way we do this is by giving students an opportunity to digest, talk about, and ask questions about God's word. During Life Groups your student will connect with students their age, as well as gender, and discuss how God's word applies to them specifically in their stage of life.

Student Life Groups meet on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30am.

Student Curriculum

Our MBC Family Ministry strives to equip & encourage families to continue discussions about Jesus in the home. One way our Student Ministry does this is by providing the curriculum from our student services and Life Groups.

STUDENT MISSIONS

STUDENT MISSIONS

MBC Student Missions exists to be an outlet for Jesus Christ to express His life through our students here and around the world. – Acts 1:8

Each summer, we send students and leaders to various locations to participate in God's work. We believe that when students become involved in God's Kingdom work, they grow rapidly. Our goal is for students to realize that Christ wants to use them to Trust, Love, Serve, Share and Go... Without Borders

SUMMER 2020 MISSION DATES June 14-20th!!!

For the last 2 years our students have been traveling to South San Antonio to work along side Blood and Fire Ministries in reaching and supporting low income families. This has been an amazing partnership and we feel the Lord has done and will continue to do some amazing things through our students before, during, and after the trip. Each student is taught to raise their own support for the trip, and trip costs are typically around $375.
